i4 Base Audio and HiFi 676 amplifier upgrade kit Match UP8

Amp upgrade kit for BMW i4 with Base Audio of HiFi 676

Heart of the kit is Match UP 8DSP amplifier with total max power of  1420 Watts. It has 8 amplified channels which in i4 case gives 5 x 65 Wrms to 4" door speakers and center (center only in Hifi 676) and two more powerfull 160 Wrms channels for door woofers. There is also mono RCA output for subwoofer amp or active sub that can be adjusted with DSP.

Optional URC.3 remote can be selected that can be used for example adjust door woofers or RCA sub out level and change sound setup.

Amp is connected to stock RAM amp with PP-BMW 1.7RAM (UP 8DSP version) and is 100% PLUG&PLAY. As there are just 6 inputs in the amp, center channel is disabled with ADEP.3 circuit that is build in the harness. Center channels is then created from front left and right channels using amps "Real Center" algorithm that is even better than stock amps center output (only HiFi 676).

To power the amp kit comes with 3m of Four Audio Stage2 6mm2 pure copper +/- power cables, Four Connect mini ANL fuse holder with 60A fuse, needed ring connectors and cable sleeves. Power needs to be taken behind right side fuse box and ground point is near where new amp is installed (where Harman Kardon booster amp would be) and for that  two Velcro strips are included.

We will provide sound setup made specifically to i4 that is a good starting point.

To get best results we recommend better door speakers and at least to front doors (woofers, mids and tweeters). Base Audio also need tweeter housings that can be found -> HERE.

Also adding a sub is also recommended as there are none stock and it makes a huge difference to bass. Most popular has been Audison APBX 10 AS2 active that fits snug into the trunks botton storage area.
